Speech Therapy
The A. Harry Moore School offers speech and language therapy for children referred by their child study team. Our speech pathologists diagnose, evaluate, plan, and carry out corrective techniques on an individual and small group basis. Areas of concern include increasing expressive and receptive communication skills, stimulating language development, and correcting defective articulation and voice disorders. Our SLP's help students regain speech and language skills, learn new ways to communicate, and improve swallowing skills. Some students are evaluated for Augmentative and
Alternative
Communication (AAC) Devices. Our Speech and Language Pathologists are certified by the New Jersey Department of Education.
