NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS
 
"African Echoes:  Recent Ceramic Works by David MacDonald" opens today in the Lemmerman Gallery, 4:30 to 7 pm. 
 
The 29th Annual Black Maria Film Festival opens this Friday, 6 February 2010 at 7 pm in the Margaret Williams Theatre.  We are hosting the opening night of the tour and the awards presentation ceremony. 
 
For the Spring 2010, Semester the College is taking new steps to go green. Faculty are being encouraged to switch to online syllabus delivery and many of our courses are now available online. Check out the "Syallbi Spring 2010" link from the menu or click here
 
 
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has announced its deadlines for 2010 grant applications, including those for Hispanic-serving institutions. The applications and guidelines are not posted yet, but check back here for updates.
