The mission of the Political Science Department isto provide rigorous instruction in the traditional sub-fields of political science, and to lead the broader NJCU community in promoting active civic engagement.To fulfill that mission, the Department's curriculum, instruction, and activities prepare studentsfor successful graduate study and careers in political science, law, education, government serviceandseveral other related fields.The Department stresses active learning, cultural diversity, and personal responsibility.
