University Theatres

 

There are several performance venues at New Jersey City University that provide a showcase for university fine arts programs sponsored by the Music, Dance, and Theatre Department and the Media Arts Department, as well as community, city, regional, and national artists.  The Margaret Williams Theatre provides over 1000 audience members a memorable experience in this beautiful proscenium facility.  The Ingalls Recital Hall hosts hundreds of concerts and recitals each year.  The Westside Theater is a 140 seat black box facility that is home to The Actors Shakespeare Company, a resident professional theatre company associated with the Actor's Equity Association.
