This interactive, hands-on workshop will explore the relationship between the instructor’s learning style and their students’ learning styles. Understanding this relationship can facilitate more effective learning outcomes for diverse students. Topics to be covered include learning styles, multiple intelligence, and Universal Design for Learning. Emphasis will be placed on applying these concepts in the university classroom.
Participants will leave this exciting workshop with a variety of methods for altering learning activities and ideas for developing a flexible teaching style that can create effective learning environments and enhanced student outcomes. |
