How to assess students` submission
  1. Login using your username and password. Both are case sensitive. If you have forgot username/password, click on Forgot Username/Password under login page. You can also contact Sachie Tsumura-Tmart, stsumura@njcu.edu, (201) 200-2594 for assistance. She most likely has your username/password information for instructor accounts.
  2. Click on Dashboard tab on the top.
  3. Click on the colored bar under Active Assignment .
  4. Click on the name of the student under Awaiting Assessment.
  5. Click on Candidate's Work to view candidate's work.
  6. Assess and leave comments on candidate's work.
    1. Click on the candidate’s text to leave comments within the candidate’s work.
    2. Click on Grade/Comment tab to leave overall grade and comments.
    3. Click on Assessment Rubrics tab to use the rubric to assess candidate’s work. Click on the appropriate cell for each criterion to indicate student’s progress. (REQUIRED)
  7. Click on Submit Assessment to complete the assessment.

NOTE:

  • Click on Request Resubmission to send back the assignment to the student. Students won’t be able to revise submitted assignment unless you release the assignment.
  • Using assessment rubric is required while leaving comments and grade are optional.
  • Once you submit assessment, your student can view the rubric and comments.
  • Under the colored bar, awaiting submission means students have not submitted an assignment; awaiting assessment means students have submitted an assignment, but you have not assessed their assignment yet; and completed means you have assessed students' assignments.
