Office of Continuing Education

The Office of Continuing Education offers non-credit classes, workshops, and seminars for learners of all ages- from primary school children to senior citizens. The classes, which are offered on an on-going basis throughout the semester, are moderate in price, varied in topic, and always provide valuable learning experiences for our students. Most courses are offered on the main campus of New Jersey City University, located at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City. But some courses are also offered at our waterfront location, Harborside Financial Center at 286 Washington Street in Jersey City.

So come join us if you are interested in computer workshops, tai chi, fashion design, swimming, salsa dancing, or acting. If you aspire to become a real estate broker, real estate salesperson, certified financial planner, or certified alcohol and drug counselor, then we can help you achieve your goal. We offer a wide array of other courses as well, such as drawing, scrapbooking, sign language, and geographic information systems. There's something for everyone in the Office of Continuing Education at New Jersey City University. If you are a parent who would like to register your child for academic enrichment courses or beginner swimming classes, then you may want to look into our Kids on Campus program. If you are interested in taking a preparation course for the SAT, then you can register to take the course on Saturdays over an 8-week period by clicking here. Finally, if you are a graduate student or aspiring graduate student interested in taking the Miller Analogies Test, then you may register to take the exam through our office.

The Office of Continuing Education is open from Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. We are also open on Saturdays from 8:30am to 2:00pm.
