Office of Continuing Education

The Office of Continuing Education offers non-credit classes, workshops, and seminars for learners of all ages- from primary school children to senior citizens. The classes, which are offered on an on-going basis throughout the semester, are moderate in price, varied in topic, and always provide valuable learning experiences for our students. Most courses are offered on the main campus of New Jersey City University, located at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City. But some courses are also offered at our waterfront location, Harborside Financial Center at 286 Washington Street in Jersey City.

We offer several programs that can help you find gainful employment and a rewarding career. Among these programs are pharmacy technician, medical administrative assistant, phlebotomy technician, certified alcohol and drug counseling, real estate sales/broker. For those who are interested in non-vocational programs, we also offer courses in tai chi, fashion design, swimming, drawing, sign language, CPR, and sewing. At our waterfront campus, we will be offering courses in business communications, risk fundamentals, and how to invest in the stock market. If you are a parent who would like to register your child for academic enrichment courses or beginner swimming classes, then you may want to look into our Kids on Campus program. Finally, we are also offering test prep courses for the GRE and GMAT for aspiring graduate students, then you may register to take the exam through our office.

The Office of Continuing Education is open from Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. We are also open on Saturdays from 8:30am to 2:00pm.
