Spring 2008 Semester Courses


Register by Fax - download a Registration Form which you may print and fax to us with your credit card number or company purchase order at (201) 200-3252. Fax is available on a twenty-four hour basis.

Register by Mail - download a Registration Form which you may mail to us with your check, money order or credit card information to:

Complete payment or credit card information must accompany registration.

ENROLLMENT is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

REGISTRATION FORMS, with full payment, must be sent to the Office of Continuing Education at least ONE WEEK prior to start of class.

PAYMENTS must be made by check, money order, or credit card (Discover, MasterCard or VISA) for the total cost of the course(s). Checks or money orders must be made payable to New Jersey City University. CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED BY MAIL OR IN-PERSON.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION: Submit a completed registration form with full payment for the course(s). As courses fill up quickly, walk-in registrations are discouraged.

TEAM REGISTRATION: A 10% discount is available to agencies sending three (3) or more employees. (Please mail registrations together and deduct discount from your payment.)

ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION: NO CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT. If not notified of a cancellation, report directly to the indicated course location.

WITHDRAWAL/REFUNDS: Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal. Refunds will not be made on this basis. Those wishing to receive a full refund must complete and submit a withdrawal from, available at the Office of Continuing Education, NO LESS THAN THREE DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS SESSION. Those who do not drop a course at least three days prior to the first class session will be charged a $20.00 registration and processing fee.

CANCELLATIONS: The Office of Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel courses. Cancellations will be made ONE WEEK prior to the first class session. In the event of a cancellation, those registered for the course will receive a 100% refund.

CERTIFICATE REPLACEMENT: New Jersey City University is not responsible for lost or stolen certificates. For a certificate replacement, complete a certificate replacement, available at the Office of Continuing Education. There is a $10 fee and a two-week waiting period for each certificate replacement.

EVENING HOURS: Office of Academic Services for Evening Students (OASES) located in the Gilligan Student Union Building, Room 109. Telephone: (201) 200-2233. Forms, applications, and information are available in OASES.

EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSINGS: In the event of inclement weather, NJCU closings will be announced on radio stations WINS 1010(AM) and NJ101.5 (AM) and cable television’s News 12 New Jersey. An emergency announcement will be recorded on (201) 200-2000 and posted at http://www.njcu.edu/. NJCU’s Department of Public Safety, which can be reached at (201) 200-3128, also provides emergency information.

Saturdays - 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Spring Break
Classes will not meet March 9 through March 14 and April 10 and April 11.
