This class will focus on common problem types unique to the SAT,
strategies for solving the problems and effective test-taking
techniques. The instructor will focus a great amount of time on reading
comprehension, as well as math sections where questions are posed in a
very complicated manner. Critical Reading and Writing is focused on the
areas of vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing structure.
Students will be assigned homework on a weekly basis and over the
course of 8 weeks, they will complete at least five full-length tests.
In-class exercises will include timed tests and students are encouraged
to become active participants in class.
