The Counseling Center directs the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) on campus. We offer a brief screening and assessment of alcohol and drug use for NJCU students, mandatory educational programs for students who have been charged with violating the University's alcohol and drug policy, and provide individual counseling to students concerned about their own alcohol and substance use or that of a family member or friend.
ASAP also presents programs and workshops on all aspects of drug and alcohol abuse awareness and prevention for both commuter and residential students. Click here to find out about upcoming programs!
