Each semester, the syllabus of a particular course will permit that course to fulfill a major requirement in an area in which it does not typically belong. In order to determine which requirements these courses fulfill, students and advisors must consult the credit-distribution chart specific to the semester in which students plan to enroll in the course. All English courses (200 level and above) may also be taken for major elective credit.
