STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE
2009 - 2010

The State of New Jersey requires (by law) that every full-time college student must maintain health insurance coverage throughout the period of their enrollment. For the purpose of insurance, full-time undergrad students must be registered for 12 or more credits and full-time grad students mst be registered for 9 or more credits.

To assist students in meeting this requirement, a discounted Student Health Insurance Plan through the insurance company (FIRST STUDENT) has selected by New Jersey State Colleges and Universities for the 2009/2010 Academic Year. The student health insurance (FIRST STUDENT) is underwritten by the Student Resources Division of the United Healthcare Insurance Company.
