VinTese has been interested in sound in such varied forms as covert pirate radio broadcasts and public radio, musical recordings from Hip Hop to the Rococo, film sound location recordings and surround mixing for both independents and majors and live musical performances at venues including CBGB and The Knitting Factory. Inspired by both the magnificence of Music Radio WABC and his older brother's basement bands, the love of technology and music and the voice remain for him, inspirational and a lifelong source of interest. He has done sound design for the films, Port of Last Resort by Joan Grossman which screened at the Berlin and Sundance Film Festivals and Junk and I Was Born, But… by Roddy Bogawa as well as sound recording for the recent documentary on filmmaker Maya Deren. He is currently editing/mixing sound for a 35mm independent feature film and playing drums in his band, The Cyclones.
