The Mission of the Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs (OGSP) is to seek and secure funding to sustain New Jersey City University’s vision of providing “a diverse population with an excellent urban education.” Our role is to assist University personnel in acquiring the resources necessary to improve the scholastic learning environment, develop new institutional capabilities, better support the academic and career success of students, and create needed services in the community and effective partnerships with area organizations.
To meet these objectives, OGSP is a catalyst for the realization of the research, scholarly, and creative endeavors envisioned by our faculty and staff. We provide support across the entire award spectrum, including:
- Identifying potential funders
- Developing program parameters
- Refining and submitting proposals
- Implementing programs
- Overseeing budgets
- Issuing reports to funding agencies.
Our staff is fully invested in transforming the inspiration of our talented University community into viable projects.
We encourage you to get in touch with any of our staff with your questions and comments. You may use the Contact form on this site to write to us. We look forward to working with you!
