Letter from OSP Associate Director, Alexis Delgado, to OSP students regarding electronic transmission of important OSP documents. Please read carefully, since it applies to all OSP students.

Dear OSP Student,

We hope you are having a prosperous semester as we approach the halfway point of the Fall 2009 semester. I am writing to inform you about an important change to how OSP will communicate with its students.

Beginning in the Fall 2009 semester, the preferred method of communication from New Jersey City University will be via your NJCU E-mail account. It is recommended that you regularly check your NJCU E-mail account, as E-mail is an official means of communication between students and the University.

OSP will no longer mail out letters, such as counselor appointments, workshop information, book voucher meetings, or tutoring information. We will now send all OSP correspondence via your NJCU E-mail account.

You can access your NJCU E-mail through GotMail?, the University’s web-based E-mail system. Gotmail? can be found on the GothicNet portal ( http://gothicnet.njcu.edu/ ) or at http://gotmail.njcu.edu/ .

As a convenience, you may elect to forward your NJCU E-mail to a personal E-mail account by setting a forwarding address, using the E-mail utilities located at http://gotmail.njcu.edu/ . You can use your NJCU E-mail account to check for University announcements and to communicate with the NJCU community.

In the event you require assistance with your NJCU E-mail account, please complete the online E-mail help form that can be found at: http://gotmail.njcu.edu/ .

Sincerely,
Alexis Delgado, M.A.
