A senior, eligible for graduation/certification, must complete the online Intent To Graduate Form. To apply, Log onto GothicNet. Under My Menu, click on Students, and click on Student Center.
Under Other Academics, click on Apply for Graduation. Complete and Submit form.
For detailed instructions on how to complete the online Graduation Clearance form, please click on how to Apply for Graduation Clearance. Seniors with an Education (major /co-major) can not apply online. Please report to the Registrar's Office, Hepburn 214, to obtain the proper certification forms.
** A $75.00 per application non-refundable Graduation Clearance Fee will be charged to all students upon filing for graduation cleareance. Your diploma will NOT be realeased if the Graduation fee is due or if a balance is due to New Jersey City University.
Click here or on the photo to view more pictures. DEADLINES ARE: May 20 to June 13, if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the Summer I or II Sessions. Transcripts and diplomas will be dated August 15 and diplomas will be available October 15. August 1 to September 30, if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the fall semester. Transcripts and diplomas will be dated January 31, and diplomas will be available by March 15. November 1 to December 7, if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the spring semester, transcripts and diplomas will be dated the date of Commencement and diplomas will be available by approximately June 15. The Dean of Students will forward a letter during April to each graduating senior regarding participation in the May Commencement. NOTE: "Certification Only" Students file an application for certification with the Certification Processing Office in P-203. Fall 2012 Undergraduate Graduation Clearance WorkshopThe workshops are designed to prepare students for graduation.
