Graduate Graduation Clearance

 

 

 

 

Graduate students eligible for graduation, must complete the online Intent To Graduate Form. To apply, Log onto GothicNet. Under My Menu, click on Students, and click on Student Center. Under Other Academics, click on Apply for Graduation. Complete and Submit form.

Graduate students seeking "Certification Only" are required to file an application for certification with the Certification Processing Office in P-203. Certification only students do not apply for graduation clearance.

 

 

** A $75.00 per application non-refundable Graduation Clearance Fee will be charged to all students upon filing for graduation cleareance. Your diploma will NOT be realeased if the Graduation fee is due or if a balance is due to New Jersey City University.

 

DEADLINES DATES

 

May 24 to June 14, if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the Summer I or II Sessions. Transcripts and diplomas will be dated August 15 and diplomas will be available October 15.

August 1 to September 30, if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the fall semester. Transcripts and diplomas will be dated January 31, and diplomas will be available by March 15.

November 1 to December 9, if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the spring semester, transcripts and diplomas will be dated the date of Commencement and diplomas will be available by approximately June 15.
