TRANSFER CREDIT EVALUTION INFORMATION
All transfer students will receive a transfer student evaluation like the one below.

Student transcripts can be evaluated two ways:

Course by Course:
transfer credit
evaluation that specifies the courses and credit hours successfully earned and transfered to NJCU from a previous institution. Course by course evaluations do not waive the All Undergraduate Requirements (AURs) or the General Studies Requirements. Therefore, students are responsible for fulfiling any incomplete areas.

Blanket Credit:
transfer credit
evaluation that grants students credit for their degrees, waiving the All Undergraduate Requirements (AURs) or the General Studies Requirements. Students who are awaded blanket credit are eligible to direct their attention solely to major coursework. Blanket credit specifications are identified below.
Blanket Credit for Associate Degrees
Blanket Credit is awarded to students who have one of the following degrees from an accredited college or university in NJ only:
*Please note that Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees are evaluated on a course by course basis only.
Blanket Credit for Bachelor Degrees
Blanket credit is awarded to students who have one of the following degrees from an accredited college or university anywhere in the U.S.:
*Please note that credits from International Schools are evaluated on a course by course basis only.
