Project Management: Financial Literacy Committee
The NJCU Financial Literacy Committee will focus on implementing the Financial Literacy Plan by laying the ground work needed to build the Student FLEX Teams, and by providing the support and guidance needed to make these FLEX teams succeed. As faculty and administrators at New Jersey City University, the role of the Committee members is to guide and serve as resources for the Student FLEX team.
Student FLEX (Financial Literacy Expert) Team members will be composed of student leaders from various year levels and academic programs. The FLEX team will be financial literacy generalists who encourage their peers to make fiscally healthy and responsible decisions. The FLEX team will facilitate workshops and present opportunities for fellow students to learn what questions to ask, where to go for answers, and how to evaluate for themselves the validity of these answers and resources.
Community Members are like-minded individuals who know the value of financial literacy in everyone’s lives.
