Why a Minor in Women’s and Gender Studies?

In the new millennium, an understanding of the ways in which individuals and individual behavior are shaped by society will be crucial to negotiating the complex human dynamics of any workplace. A minor in Women's and Gender Studies prepares students with an understanding of the interrelations among men and women in different political and global locations with varying degrees of access to power and privilege.
