Correct errors in the following essay
.
1 It's almost semester break when my mom asked me if I would like to travel. I said "Yes" so she bought me a ticket to come to the United States. I was so happy. My flight schedule is in the morning on September 8, 1997. I'll never forget the day I left my country. I felt so excited, happy and scared because I never been on a plane before and I'll be traveled by myself.

2 After 22 hours of traveling, I felt so tired. When I step out of the plane I saw different kinds of people. I saw my mom waved at me. The first thing that came to my mind is that I couldn't believe that I was already here in the United States.

3 As we walked to the car I noticed how big is the airport. Every airlines had there own terminal. Finally, on our way home I saw how wide the roads are and how drivers obey the law; for example, if they see an ambulance coming or police car chasing someone, they stop.

4. As time goes by I'm starting to get hungry, so we stopped to get some fast-food. I seen people gathered there food wrappers and threw it into the garbage. I was surprised because I never expected that you have to do that. Then I said to myself I had to learn some of the things I don't know.

5 Anyway, [before I came here] I had thought the United States is the most cleanliness places in the whole world because I seen it in the movies but I was wrong! Some places are dirty here too, the same as in my country. However, here are more cleaned.

5 Everything here in America are scheduled, like the garbage. On our street Monday is recycling day. Tuesday & Friday is for ordinary garbage. The thing I hate is the bus schedule because I had to wake up early in the morning just to catch the bus. If I missed it I'm already late to work, or sometimes if I'm early, the bus is late.

6 My first and second weeks here in the United States, I was bored, but after that I'm started to enjoyed it because I realized everything is possible. With just a little bit of hard work you can buy whatever you wants. I like the weather here. It cold unlike in our country where it hot all through the year. That why I don't want to go back to my country, and besides I'm very happy here.
