The course track in the Digital Media area is designed to provide Media Arts majors with the full spectrum of computer-based media production as well as the study and analysis of related theoretical issues, creative thinking, and artistic content. The Department offers students instruction in Photoshop; Image Ready; HTML scripting; Flash and basic Action Script; Director and Lingo scripting; After Effects; and various 3-D animation environments. Students develop basic skills in photographic image manipulation, multimedia, and web design in classes structured as “hands on” workshops. Individual work stations are provided in addition to full computer lab access.
