About Flickr (www.flickr.com). Online photo services like Shutterfly, Ofoto, and Snapfish (or subsidiaries like Yahoo Photos and CVS Pictures) focus on three things—uploading your digital pictures, sharing them with friends and family, and making prints.
Flickr does all of these things, as a beginning. Flickr is a global community of picture takers—sharing, learning, and communicating.

We will go over these features in this workshop. First, a caveat--this is a workshop focusing on a teacher’s own productivity skills. There is some objectionable and adult material on Flickr. Flickr has rules to restrict these images and they are not features or displayed, but they can be found by a search. You should use this service cautiously with students under the age of 18. |
