Building South Kearny Helicopter-Only FBO

Helo Holdings, Inc. (HHI) has obtained all regulatory approvals necessary for building and operating a full service, 24 x 7 x 365, helicopter-dedicated fixed base of operations (FBO) on a 9 acre site in South Kearny, NJ. The facility is located less than 5-minute helicopter flight time from the three Manhattan, NY heliports and will provide parking, fueling, maintenance and storage services to locally-based and itinerant turbine helicopter owners and operators. Air BP is being contracted to provide fuel at the facility. HHI has relocated to BDI while constructing the facility which is slated to be operational in 4th quarter 2010. The land owner is constructing a 27,000SF hangar with up to 6,000SF of related in-hangar mezzanine office space that will be leased to HHI. HHI is constructing the helicopter "set-down", tarmac parking areas and fuel farm that will be completed concurrent with completion of the hangar. The company is currently finalizing negotiations on a 20-year lease with a ten year renewal option on the land and has obtained letters of intent from five prospective tenants to lease all of the usable hangar space (nearly 27,000SF) to be built in Phase I.
