The management specialization combines basic management courses, which stress fundamental management concepts and techniques, with advanced management courses in the functional and analytical areas within institutional specialties. This rigorous combination produces a coordinated program in management education with two aims. First, to educate all students in concepts and basic skills to different types of organizations - business, government, health services, education and insurance.
Management students can expect to work in management positions in personnel, insurance, production, banking, marketing, hotel and motel operations, restaurants, food distribution and management, retailing, government, and credit management.
