Congratulations to the Fire Science majors and alumni placing in the top of their perspective divisions during the Carlos Negron 5K Memorial Run on Sunday, October 3rd. The Fire Science majors and placing in the top of their age group are: Charlie Plumley (pictured left), Anthony Wolleon, Jonathan Jedziniak, Rafael Padilla and Andrew Conlon. Charlie Plumley placed with an impressive; 2nd in age group, and 15th overall. Running with one of the Jersey City Fire House Teams was Anthony Wolleon. While the team he was on placed 2nd, Anthony placed 6th in age group and 13th in the Fire Officer category. Other age group finishers included: Jonathan Jedziniak placing 6th, Andrew Conlon placing 7th and Rafael Padilla placing 11th. While alumni, Clifton Fire Department’s Deputy Chief Brian Mulligan ran successfully in the Fire Officer category. The Carlos Negron 5K run is hosted by the Jersey City Firefighters and the money raised supports The St. Barnabus Burn Foundation.
