Instructor Richard Burroughs is a retired Lieutenant with the Bayonne Fire Department. Prior to being appointed to the Bayonne FD, Mr. Burroughs served time in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Turkey. Mr. Burroughs attended both Jersey City State College and St. Peter’s College, and holds several fire service certifications.   Mr. Burroughs was also the Board Chairman/Director of Communications for The Lighthouse Foundation; a non-profit organization dealing with at-risk children from 7 to 18 years of age.
