Masters of Science in Accounting:  PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The Master of Science in Accounting program at New Jersey City University is a part-time, campus-based, or online program. This ACBSP-accredited program is designed for those students who hold an undergraduate degree in accounting or business who wish to prepare for a professional career in accounting and meet the 150 hour educational requirement for admittance to candidacy for the CPA examination in New Jersey and many other states. The Program is also designed to provide students with an opportunity to broaden and develop themselves beyond the undergraduate level in critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills, placing special emphasis on professional and technological competency, resulting in a quality educational experience.
