Official Transcripts from all educational institutions previously attended. At least one transcript must show that you received a bachelor’s degree. (Note: Most schools now allow you to order an official transcript online. Have your transcript sent to Graduate Studies Department, New Jersey City University, 2039 John F Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07305.) If you have an unofficial transcript that you can submit right away, you can expedite your admission by mailing it to that address. Conditional admission can be granted with the unofficial transcript, but you will not be fully admitted or matriculated until the official transcript is received.

Take an appropriate graduate-level admissions test. Students from diverse backgrounds are encourage to apply to the Master of Science in Professional Security Studies degree program. Due to this diversity, the Department has decided to accept the following graduate admissions tests:
