The Peers Educating Peers Program at New Jersey City University is a student group that provides interactive outreach programming to the campus and local communities on such social issues as substance abuse, diversity, sexually transmitted infections, AIDS awareness, and conflict mediation.

Students who join PEP have the opportunity to:
  • develop a variety of interpersonal and professional skills
  • make new friends and find a "home away from home" on campus
  • travel to conferences and meet people from all over the country
  • participate in two personal growth retreats a year
  • start building a resume BEFORE graduation
  • do all of the above AT NO COST!
PEP meets every Wednesday
from 3:00 - 4:30 PM
in GSUB 312
during the Fall & Spring Semesters

The PEP program is sponsored by the NJCU Counseling Center, and funded by the Jersey City Alliance to Combat Drug & Alcohol Abuse and the NJ Department of Law & Public Safety's Division of Highway Traffic Safety.
