Attention New and Transfer Students Room assignment letters was mailed out! If you are concern about your placement, please contact the Office of Residence Life (201) 200- 2338. If you received a letter and you wish to accept your room assignment, please complete the following within 30 days of the date on your letter. 1
.Make a $150 non-refundable deposit to confirm your room assignment. Payment must be made payable to
New Jersey City University through the Bursars Office- a receipt confirming payment should be submitted to Residence Life. If you are making your payment by cash or credit card you must make the payment
in person with a visa, master or discover card (no am/exp).

2. If you have not already done so, please be sure to register for classes. All residents students are required to be registered Full-Time/ 12credits and above.
3. Submit a written statement to the Office of Residence Life acknowledging acceptance of your room assignment.
Ex.. I “name” student ID# accept my room assignment in Co-Op Hall Room #. Date and Sign!

4. Submit Meningitis vaccination verification documentations to the Health and Wellness Center and to the Office of Residence Life by August 30th.
The Office of Residence Life will not issue a key without proof of vaccination. Please contact the Health & Wellness Center, Vodra Hall 107 – Tel. (201) 200-2010 should you have any questions.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Prior to your arrival on campus, please make sure that all of your university fees have been paid.
Please provide a clearance confirmation from the Bursar’s Office, Hepburn 106 to the Office of Residence Life, Vodra Hall 123.
A room key will not be issued to anyone who has not satisfied all financial matters with the University. Please be advised that the total amount to be paid is $2,756.25 for room and board and $1,550 for the meal plan and is a separate cost from the tuition fees a total of $4,306.25.

. Final day to clear your bill is Thursday, August 13th; however, resident experiencing financial difficulties should contact the student financial assistance team within Bursar (201) 200 - 2096 or (201) 200 -2057.
Attention Continuing Resident Students All continuing resident students in good standing have received a room assignment letter and a reminder notice from the Office of Residence Life. Please review each notice before contacting the Office. If you have not registered FULL TIME for Fall 2009 please do so by May 29th. All residents students are required to be registered Full-Time/ 12credits and above. Failure to register or accept your room assignment will forfeit room assignment offered.
