No Smoking is permitted inside the Residence Halls. According to New Jersey State Law, effective, October 21, 2005, smoking of any tobacco containing product is not permitted in any college operated facility that serves as a student residence. The University has designated areas outside the residence halls available to smokers. Violators face disciplinary sanctions as well as financial responsibility for the violations.
