International Law and Economic Council The purpose of the Council is to provide
New Jersey City University undergraduate students with an opportunity to learn about the fields of
law and economics and the
career options it provides. The council will seek to promote greater awareness and understanding of these opportunities within the appropriate field desired (Law or Economics) by publications, meetings, seminars, trips and other educational events. By working with other law and economic related organizations on and off campus, we hope to establish a support infrastructure for students interested in law and graduate school. Over the past few years, I have noticed that a fraction of students with BS degrees from NJCU have found the job market rather frustrated because of the extensive time it takes to find a job in their profession. One of the priorities of the council is to enhance the various avenues that students can use to build their foundation, which will maximize their full potential and reach beyond their own expectations. I believe with the support of the faculty and staff at NJCU the International Law and Economic Council will provide a striving chance for students to succeed. Please help us open the door. Some of the things we hope to accomplish: *Internships *Preparation for career opportunities *Recommendations for law or graduate schools *Establish (1) credit for members who wish to partake in the credit option *and more Oneil Madden Founder and President |
