Our meetings start at 12:00PM and end around 1:00PM.
This sample agenda will give you an idea of what to expect during a typical meeting.

| Toastmaster introduces the Grammarian and Timer |
Club President introduces Toastmaster. One member acts as the master of ceremonies for the overall meeting. The Grammarian and Timer describe their roles for the meeting. |

| Prepared speeches by one to three members |
Members present speeches that are both entertaining and help enhance and develop the member's skills. Speeches generally run between 4 to 7 minutes, with a 1-minute gap for the audience to write their comments for the speaker. |

| Table Topics |
The Table Topics Master presents an overall theme or topic. Guests and members are then selected to deliver an impromptu 1- to 2-minute speech in response to a specific question. |

| Speech evaluations |
Prior to the speeches, members volunteer to evaluate one speaker according to Toastmaster’s guidelines. Their constructive evaluation aids both the speaker and audience. Evaluations run between 2 and 3 minutes. |

| Grammarian’s report |
Speaker’s deviations from generally accepted grammar are noted along with the use of filler words like “ah” and “um.” |

| Timer’s report |
Each speaking role is timed. This helps us gain a sense of time as speakers and aids our pacing and delivery. |

General Evaluator gives his or her opinion of the overall meeting and presents suggestions for improvement. |

Guests are asked to give their comments about the meeting and are invited to return. |

| Enlist speakers & roles |
At each meeting, a different team of people participates through the various roles. Members are requested to volunteer for roles at future meetings. This is a great way to learn new skills. |
